Parker's 1st Hunting License!

How HAPPY is this kid?

Parker and his very FIRST hunting license! Normally, you have to be 11 to hunt, Parker is 10 --- this year, Minnesota opened up a special session for ONE weekend this fall where kids who are 10 are allowed to hunt as long as they are within arms length of an adult hunter. Parker is SO EXCITED...not necessarily to shoot something (in fact, if I was a betting person, I'd bet that when it came down to it, he wouldn't be able to kill a deer --- just sayin'), but to be a part of that "right of passage" and to do something special with his dad --- just the two of them. Chad bought a blind --- looks like a little tent with fake leaves on it and holes out the side to shoot out of! Parker can't wait to go set it up...which "you have to do at least 3 weeks before hunting so that the deer get accustomed to seeing it there"! Ohhh Bubba...so fast you grew up! And, by the way, I'm not able to tell you where they are hunting...shhhh! It's a secret!
