Sunday Evening ~ July 3rd, 2011
During our weekend to Minneapolis, we stayed at a Holiday Inn in Maple Grove.
The beds were SO COZY...and I thought these little tags were fun! One says "firm", the other "soft".
The pool was by far the COOLEST!! It was a Venecian themed area! The "buildings" were lit from behind, the ceiling was painted a dark blue and had lights recessed in it to portray stars!!
Above is the waterslide! You go "in a building", up stairs and then are encased all the way down....
to here! You come shooting out "under the bridge"! The only bummer part is that the waterslide section of the pool is only open on Friday and Saturdays...we were there on a Sunday, but are DEFINATELY coming back!!

Above is the kiddie section...it too, has a waterslide, a regular slide, and water that shoots into the air all around the bridge.
After a hot afternoon in the sun at the Twins game, even I was ready for a swim!
This is just a small section of the hot tub! It was HUGE!! Three sections of hot, steamy, bubbly relaxation!!
Another shot of the older kid section of the pool...the decor was just AMAZING and it was SO PEACEFUL and QUIET! There is even an arcade in the top section of one of the buildings!!
This was the snack bar area! On the other side are tables, lockers and a large TV. You can order pizza, nachos, even a Mike's Hard Lemonade!! Of course, it was closed at this point...but NEXT TIME!!
Time to say goodbye for this post (I know, it was LOOONNNNGGG enough!!)....Aiden can wave us out! It was the only time he paused for a picture! hee, hee, hee....
