Today Savannah gets to be the 1st grade Star Student! So of COURSE she had to DRESS the part!! I just love this dress and it was a win~win situation since she HAD TO WEAR SOMETHING THAT MATCHED THOSE BLACK BOOTS!!
The Start Student gets to bring something in the "guessing box" and write 3 clues about the item to see if the class can guess what you brought...the more ambiguous the clues, the better! Savannah took her little karaoke machine and guess what?! The class was NOT able to guess what it was ~ she was MIGHTY PLEASED with her clue writing skills! (and yes, she came up with all 3 clues by herself and even WROTE them herself on the index card!)
The COOLEST part of being Star Student is you get to be the LINE LEADER ALL DAY! That means FIRST for EVERYTHING! The student also gets to report the weather that day at the start of class!
You can also bring snacks for the class if you'd like. Our school is really pushing healthy snack choices....Savannah brought doughnuts....ohh dear!! I guess that's what you get when you can't make up your mind about what you'd like to bring the night before and then dad has to stop to get snack in the morning before school starts! (yep...I'm pretty sure she's smart enough to have done that on purpose so she could get what she wants! WHAT A STINKER!). Today she even managed to earn a Rebel Reward (these are tickets the teachers hand out when they "catch" students making good choices). WAY TO GO SAVANNAH! You are a WONDERFUL Star Student!
