Rush Lake

AUGUST 6th, 2011

Today we got to visit Grandma Pam and Grandpa Emmett at Rush Lake.  They spend a week there every summer and today was a BEAUTIFUL day there! 

 As SOON as the car was stopped, these three sillies headed STRAIGHT for the water!! 

 Chad even came along for the fun!

 Were you aware that any stick can be turned into a Sword that you can use to defend your underwater kingdom!?!?

 And squirt guns are a MUST!  It's so easy to fill them up out here!!

 Miss Avery was there for us to hang out with and we came up with a SUPER game!  She would kick out a splash of water and Parker, Aiden & Savannah would pretend they got kicked and splash into the water!  I don't think I've EVER heard Avery laugh so hard!! 

 Of course you have to make mud soup and sand castles at the lake!

 There's my new little buddy!!  She is SO STINKIN' CUTE!!

What a wonderful day at the lake!  We even grilled corn on the cob (after all, we just picked 15 dozen ears before getting here today!) ~ YUMMY!!

We just keep trying to squeeze EVERY inch out of summer we can!  Thanks for keeping up with us!
