Today it was almost 40 degrees outside! The sun was shining, the snow was melting and it was a PERFECT day to get the kids OUTSIDE! I really don't seem to mind the soaking wet snowpants, jackets, mittens, hats, socks, pants, shirts, and even undies when it provides me with an hour or so of peace and quiet!! Ha, ha, ha....

Here they are (with our neighbor Benny!) at the top of our rather large snow hill - yep, it's in our front yard. Lucky us...

Aiden Lee rolling down the hill...at least he picked the side that rolls into the driveway and not the side that rolls into the STREET (this time at least...just wait until I head into the house, huh?!)!

Then it was time to come in for some hot chocolate
and a game of Star Wars...Parker was happy that Nicholas was able to join in on the fun. The neighbor boys stayed for supper and a movie.....
in addition to a THRILLING game of Shark Bingo! What a GLORIOUS DAY! It reminds us of the days of summer when there are kids down the block as far as the eye can see!! We don't get to see our friends as much when it's so flippen cold! And, yes, the children slept VERY well this night!!
