We traveled to Minneapolis on September 10th in an attempt to suprise Chad's brother Colby on his 30th birthday. Ahhh the fun that makes up our lives!!
Savannah & Noah are the first ones to the lobby of the hotel...they were READY TO GO!
Here is my mother in law, Joey, walking the streets in downtown Minneapolis with all these balloons! There are 30 balloons~get it? Colby is 30 today! Since there are 5 grandchildren, they each get to hold a bouquet of 6 balloons when they jump out at Colby and yell, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE COLBY"!!
At Colby & Ilea's hotel (about 5 blocks from ours), TRYING to be waiting patitently!
They are hiding around the corner from the elevators...you can IMAGINE the looks we were getting. Them like this and me standing there with the camera poised ready to shoot! Oh DEAR...this is FUN!
He looks suprised to me! It was pretty funny, Ilea did a GREAT job planning and getting this organized. If you think about it, we are truely blessed to be able to gather together like this...we haven't ALL been together since Colby's wedding!
Colby & the kids..how cute!
The JUNTUNEN BOYS...aren't they CUTE!?!
The lucky LADIES of the BROTHERS!
We begin our trek to the restaurant
This is the chandelier as you walk down the steps to the enterance of the restaraunt...HELL'S KITCHEN
The boy cousins~Brody, Aiden, Noah & Parker
Colby and his Mama!
Savannah & Ilea had matching "PRINCESS" tattoos!
Dana (Shane's wife) and I. We don't get to see them NEARLY enough! They live in Florida!
Aiden was MESMERIZED by the live music...it was a guy with a guitar & a harmonica, a guy with a chello that he played like a bass & a drummer. They reminded me of a group you'd see in the 50's...very cool!
GOOD FOOD at Hell's Kitchen! We give it a THUMBS UP!
We went back to the hotel, put the kiddos to bed with a sitter and hit the sports bar in the hotel to watch the Steelers game...yes, that's Colby's team! I can't remember what these are called, but I believe I had about 6 of them..ha, ha, ha!
Cute Couple! Hope you had a WONDERFUL birthday, Colby! We sure had a BLAST spending it with you!
