We decided to snag a few of our pumpkins and CARVE THEM! The kids were pretty excited about touching the "guts" and mom was just focused on keeping all of her fingers!! They each got to design their own. I think next year we will use BIGGER pumpkins so that we have room for all the "extras" the kids wanted (eyebrows, scars, ears, ect) on the faces!

Savannah's pumpkin was soo skinny, there were hardly any guts in there...it was almost SOLID pumpkin! Didn't slow her down, she just set aside the spoon and started ripping it out! Atta girl!
Aiden just COULDN'T BELIEVE there were "guts" inside pumpkins...until he took a look for himself. It was funny and delightful watching them all experience the smell, feel, and taste of their pumpkins. We should do this EVERY YEAR!
